The benzoin tree was highly appreciated by Pliny and formerly its resin was used for flavouring, perfumes, colognes, ointments and others.
Currently used in the Oriental mosques, where burned as an incense.
The resin is often used due to its scent and the ease with which it is mixed with other ingredients.
Known for the following properties:
-For purification, prosperity and the improvement of the mental faculties.
-Suitable for combat situations of hatred, messes and intrigues.
-It promotes material and commercial prosperity.
--Assistance for emotional stability.
-To defend themselves from witchcraft and spells.
It can burn on hot coals, charcoal tablets (the more rapid and comfortable) or electric burner, but to appreciate its fragrance to the maximum the ideal is to burn it in a Brazier in the following manner:
